Our first club ride of the 2017-18 season will be January 19th – 21st at The Edge Hotel and it looks like we will have good conditions. The Brantingham Snomads have graciously offered to take us on a ride through their wonderful trail system on Saturday the 20th. A club dinner will be held at The Boondocks Restaurant (next to The Edge Hotel) at 7:00 pm on Saturday.

ITINERARY:

FRIDAY EVENING AT THE DAILEYS: The Dailey’s have invited us to join them at their home in Constableville near Whiskey Jacks (20 minutes from The Edge Hotel) for dinner on Friday night at 6:00 pm. Please RSVP to Rich, at 845-216-9387, to let him know if you’ll be attending and to obtain directions.

SATURDAY CLUB RIDE: You must be in the parking lot of The Edge Hotel ready to ride by 9:30am! The Brantingham Snomads will take groups of riders on a tour of their trail system. Many of you have been on their trails before, but there are hidden gems off the beaten path that you may not know about. The president of the SnoMads, Mike, will lead our group from The Edge Hotel to the SnoMads groomer barn in Brantingham where we will take a group picture, separate in to a few smaller groups, and head out to ride. A lunch stop is on the schedule.

SATURDAY CLUB DINNER AT THE BOONDOCKS: Our club dinner will be at The Boondocks Restaurant located next to The Edge Hotel. Appetizers will be served at 7:00 pm and a buffet dinner will be at 8:00 pm. The cost of the dinner is $30.00 per person and there is a cash bar. If you have not let us know that you will be attending, please do so immediately by emailing snowratsclub@gmail.com .

HOTEL ROOMS: Currently (as of 1/10/18) there are no more rooms available at The Edge Hotel for Friday night. If you’re looking for a last minute room, we have a member that has one booked but no longer needs it. Please contact us at snowratsclub@gmail.com if you would like to take over the room.

HOTEL CANCELLATION POLICY: As we know, sometimes Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate. Reservations can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the start of your stay. There will be a 5% fee (approx. $5.45) per night for cancelling prior to 48 hours (example: $10.90 fee if you had a 2 night stay booked). If you cancel less than 48 hours prior to your stay you will lose your one night deposit.
